Trodelvy

Trodelvy is the brand name for sacituzumab govitecan, an advanced antibody–drug conjugate developed using targeted biotechnology. It is designed to recognize Trop-2, a transmembrane glycoprotein that is highly expressed on the surface of many cancer cells. Trop-2 plays a role in cell growth, proliferation, and survival, making it an important target in oncology research.
Sacituzumab govitecan combines a monoclonal antibody with SN-38, an active metabolite of irinotecan, through a specialized linker.
