Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement
Our Commitment
Apple Globalcare is committed to conducting business ethically, responsibly, and with respect for human rights. We maintain a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, forced labour, bonded labour, servitude, child labour, and human trafficking in any form. We expect the same high standards from everyone we work with, including suppliers, contractors, logistics providers, consultants, and other business partners.
Purpose of This Statement
This statement demonstrates our commitment to transparency in supply chains and reflects the expectations of global regulators, healthcare institutions, and international partners. It aligns with principles contained in the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and broader international human rights frameworks.
About Apple Globalcare
Apple Globalcare operates in international pharmaceutical access, sourcing, regulatory logistics, and global distribution support across multiple jurisdictions. Because pharmaceutical supply chains can be complex and cross-border, we recognize the importance of robust oversight.
Risk Awareness
We understand potential risks may arise in manufacturing subcontracting, raw material sourcing, transportation and warehousing, regions with developing labour protections, and reliance on third-party intermediaries. We therefore apply proportionate and risk-based controls.
Our Governance Framework
Apple Globalcare supports ethical business conduct through internal policies including our Code of Conduct, Supplier Qualification & Compliance Procedures, Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy, Whistleblower Protection, and Responsible Procurement Standards.
Expectations from Suppliers and Partners
We require suppliers to ensure employment is voluntary, prohibit forced or trafficked labour, avoid retention of identity papers, prevent child labour, comply with wage and working hour laws, maintain safe workplaces, and adhere to applicable labour regulations.
Due Diligence
Our approach may include supplier onboarding assessments, contractual requirements, documentation checks, sanctions screening, regulatory review, and investigation of credible allegations.
Reporting and Whistleblowing
Anyone who suspects misconduct or human rights violations connected with our operations is encouraged to report concerns at ethics@appleglc.com. Reports made in good faith are protected and retaliation is not permitted.
Training & Awareness
We build awareness among relevant personnel regarding ethical sourcing responsibilities and identification of risk indicators.
Continuous Improvement
Apple Globalcare recognizes that preventing modern slavery requires ongoing effort. We continue to review and strengthen procedures, supplier engagement methods, and governance practices.
Leadership Responsibility
Senior management maintains oversight of compliance and ethical trade expectations, with policies reviewed periodically.
