Billing and Accounting Executive
Role Overview
The Billing and Accounting Executive at Apple Globalcare will manage financial operations across domestic and international pharmaceutical distribution transactions. Given our global reach across 100+ countries and dealings in high-value specialty, orphan, and branded medicines, this role demands exceptional accuracy in billing, deep GST and forex knowledge, and the ability to manage complex multi-currency accounts with full statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Billing & International Invoicing
- Prepare and process invoices for domestic distribution and export transactions in multiple currencies (USD, EUR, GBP, CHF).
- Manage high-value billing for specialty, orphan, and branded drug categories across US NDC, Swiss, Germany PZN, Canadian DIN, and NZ product lines.
- Reconcile billing discrepancies with overseas buyers, agents, and freight partners promptly.
2. Accounts, Forex & Compliance
- Maintain accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliation including NOSTRO/VOSTRO forex accounts.
- Ensure GST compliance (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9), TDS filings, and FEMA/RBI compliance for export remittances.
- Process FIRC (Foreign Inward Remittance Certificates) and coordinate with bank for export realizations.
- Support internal and statutory audits with accurate, well-organized financial documentation.
3. MIS & Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly MIS, cash flow statements, and product-wise profitability reports for management review.
- Maintain vendor payment schedules, duty drawback records, and export incentive claims (RoDTEP, MEIS if applicable).
- Assist in annual budget preparation and financial forecasting for global distribution operations.
Qualifications & Skills
- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent
- 2–5 years in accounting/billing in pharma distribution or export firms
- Proficient in Tally ERP / SAP / Zoho Books
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, FEMA, and export banking
- Experience with multi-currency accounting and forex reconciliation
- Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, MIS dashboards)
