Distribution and Dispatch Handling Executive
Role Overview
The Distribution and Dispatch Handling Executive at Apple Globalcare will be central to our pharmaceutical supply chain operations — managing the accurate, compliant, and timely dispatch of high-value specialty, orphan, and temperature-sensitive medicines across domestic and international markets. With our WHO-GDP certified, ISO 9001-compliant warehousing and cold-chain capabilities spanning -80°C to +25°C, this role requires meticulous attention to GDP norms, serialized track-and-trace, and zero-tolerance for counterfeit or compliance breaches.
Key Responsibilities
1. Dispatch & International Distribution
- Plan and execute daily dispatch schedules for domestic distribution and international export shipments of pharmaceutical products.
- Prepare all dispatch documentation — commercial invoices, packing lists, e-way bills, airway bills, bills of lading, SDS, and export health/phytosanitary certificates.
- Coordinate with international freight forwarders, air cargo agents, and courier partners for timely, compliant global deliveries.
2. GDP-Compliant Warehouse Management
- Maintain WHO-GDP and ISO 9001-compliant storage of all product categories including ambient, refrigerated (2–8°C), and ultra-cold (-20°C to -80°C) medicines.
- Enforce FIFO/FEFO stock rotation to prevent expiry risk across high-value specialty and orphan drug inventory.
- Manage serialized track-and-trace records (DSCSA-compliant where applicable) and anti-counterfeit verification procedures.
- Conduct periodic physical stock counts, reconcile with ERP/WMS records, and maintain audit-ready inventory documentation.
3. Cold Chain & Compliance
- Monitor and log temperature data during storage and transit for cold-chain products using continuous monitoring systems.
- Ensure all dispatch operations comply with IATA CEIV Pharma standards, drug licensing requirements, and importing country regulations.
- Coordinate with QA for product release clearance, batch record verification, and CoA documentation before dispatch.
- Manage returns, damaged goods documentation, and escalation of any cold-chain or quality breach incidents.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Pharmacy, or Life Sciences
- 2–6 years in pharmaceutical warehouse management or distribution operations
- Hands-on experience with cold-chain, GDP norms, and temperature-sensitive drug handling
- Knowledge of IATA CEIV Pharma, DSCSA track-and-trace, and international shipping regulations
- Proficient in ERP / WMS systems (SAP, Tally, or equivalent)
- Familiarity with anti-counterfeit serialization and product authentication systems
